Day 10,11,12,13: vacation sans computer, write via pen.
Because I am going on vacation this week I have decided to write my entries via paper and pen to give my hands a much needed break from the computer keys. I will type everything up this coming weekend.

Haley - I found your blog via Ginger's recommendation and it's been just the thing...I'm in a spot where your words and experiences are very inspirational for me. Pretty damn funny, too.

We gave up TV right after 9?11. But we had only been watching for a couple of years; we kind of succombed to network TV after hooking up a VCR in the living room. Before that, I had never had TV since leaving my parents' house at 19. I kind of feel lost when I'm in a room full of people who are discussing characters from a TV show as if they are real people. But other than that, I don't notice any difference.

I don't have a TV and I really do not miss it at all. Having a TV is like having a loud and demanding person move in the house. I prefer the peace (of mind, too).
